Great gym - big open gym space with loads of kit and never too busy. Staff and the people here are super friendly
Brilliant gym only bad part is the opening hours
Phenomenal community and awesome gym! There are a few to choose from for such a rural location but this is the one to go for if you are interested in getting fit and strong without any mucking about (no mirrors...everyone is there to workout not look at themselves). The guys who own and run this place are salt of the earth and really know their stuff. They've created a really friendly, supportive community that is welcoming to new starters and can lead to transformational change if you commit to it. I started in Jan 24, having not visited a gym in ten years and probably only really getting exercise from walking - we used to do a lot but our toddler is at the age where we don't get chance to walk more than twice a month now. I am an ex rugby player and was tipping the scales around 115kg/18stone with a BMI of 31.5 (not a fan of bmi for tall, heavy build guys...but for comparison purposes) ...and I won't lie, the first classes (Body Blitz and Wednesday circuits) were hard! I stuck at it because I want to be functionally fit as my kids grow up ...but also because of the gentle encouragement (nothing forced or fake or OTT) of the guys I was training with. Fast forward to Mar 25 and I am now around 102kg/16st with a BMI of
Great gym . Lots more kit than the last two gyms I've been in Yate. Plenty of space. Can't fault it .
Best in the west! Very friendly and great gym
